Sermon 08/31/2025

When Jesus calmed the storm and stilled the waters of Galilee's Sea for the disciples' boat, they were speechless and in awe.  He asked them the question He still asks us today, "What are afraid of?"  Fear can grip our lives and hold us hostage with lies meant to cripple us and keep our eyes off of Jesus.  This encouraging sermon looks at some common answers to that question and shines the light of God's truth into the darkness of fear's lies.
