At the last gathering of the nation of Israel before Joshua's passing, Joshua realizes they are at a crossroads and presents the people a choice to choose to live for God or choose their own way.  He details the characteristics of true commitment to God:

• True commitment is complete.
• True commitment is exclusive.
• True commitment is constant.
