We Need Patience
Dean Allen
Psalm 13:1-2
As human beings, we always ask God, "How long will this last?" We're in that situation know with the Covid-19 shelter-in-place mandate. How long will this last? How long until life returns to normal? David asked the same question in Psalm 13:1-2. The truth of the matter is we don't know how long...but we trust in the only One who does. In this time of trusting, let us have patience and wait on God for His perfect timing. Patience is defined as "accepting a difficult situation without giving God a deadline to remove it." That's precisely what we need through all the circumstances and trials of life. Three attributes of patience are examined:
- Patience waits on God
- Patience works for God
- Patience wears on for God
