Resisting God's Call
When God asks something of us, He desires our obedience and submission. So often, however, we make excuses, ignore His call and resist what He wants us to do. Three stories of resistance are examined in Jonah, Moses, and Gideon. Each of these stories reminds us that God doesn't want our ability but our availability. He will provide the strength, the miracles, the right words and the victory, but we have to overcome our natural resistance to obedience and respond with a "Yes" to God's call!
