Sermon 10/08/2017

Amos was a sheep herder and a sycamore fig farmer, but God called him to be a prophet.  Through his calling, the prophet Amos examined the nation of Israel and found cold hearts, empty worship and a nation far from God.  He pleaded with Israel to return to God and seek Him.

The same condition in which Amos found Israel could be said of us as a nation and a collective people.  If we want an abundant and joyful life, may we return to God and seek Him with all our hearts.
