Sermon 03/01/2015
The Man Who Conquered His Circumstances - Part 2
Adel Akl Genesis 5:32

Part 2 of an inspirational character study of Noah.  As it is today, Noah lived in a time when mankind was extremely depraved; however, Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord because Noah wanted what God wanted.

In this continuation, we are asked and learn:

God spoke to Noah, asking him to build an ark in preparation of a devastating flood that was to come. The ark was necessary in order for God to create a covenant between Himself and mankind. Noah worked on the ark for one hundred and twenty years. Sometimes when God speaks to us, it doesn’t make any sense. No doubt there were times that Noah may have had second thoughts; nevertheless, Noah learned to depend upon God. Do we look at our circumstances, or do we look to God?

Only complete and absolute abandonment of your will to the will of God will give you rest. Are you in the ark today?
