Take Courage, The Future Is Ours

Joshua 1:1-9
Our message today examines the life of Joshua. Though he began as a mere servant of Moses, Joshua's life proved to be one of superior, successful and loyal service to God. Facing a road that he had never walked before, Joshua sought God and took Him at His word.
God told Joshua three times to be courageous, because God would be with Him throughout the journey. Joshua discovered then what we can apply to our lives today: we must read and set upon our hearts the Word of God.
Through his faith and obedience, Joshua lived up to the task and was marvelously equipped by God to lead the Jews into the Promised Land. As we face the uncertain and uncharted road of this year, if we keep the word of God as our guide, knowing that God never changes in His promises to us, we can move ahead with confidence and joy.
God is the Solid Rock that will never be moved, an unchanging God in a changing world. Let us commit to reading, studying, believing and applying the Word of God each and every day.
