Lessons From The Life Of Elijah
Rajeev Nicholas
1 Kings 16:30-17:8
Much can be learned from Elijah's entrance on the scene in 1 Kings 17. Important scriptural truths are examined:
- It doesn't matter what your background is or where you come from.
- If you set your heart on serving God, He can use you in a mighty way.
- When we commit to Him, we're His forever.
- Despite our sinning, we cannot sever a genuine relationship with God.
- We serve a living God and are standing in the presence of God.
- Knowing God's Word and praying to the Lord are critical actions to a successful life.
- Being with the Lord is a prerequisite for actively serving Him.
- To be blessed, we must be in the location of divine choice.
- In emergencies, God is not confined to a single course of action.
These crucial lessons and more are examined through the example of Elijah's life.
